My work is first cut from a wood panel, then sanded and painted. The paintings have cut-out areas to add a sculptural quality and folk art tone. Each piece is clear coated to protect it for outdoor exposure. To keep the colors bright an additional clear coat is desired once a year.
Made with a re-puposed sock as its basis, each soft sculpture is organically developed as my imagination takes flight. They do make me laugh, often.
