From greater Boston, east of Route 128 & Interstate-95:

Exit from Route 128/I-95 onto Route 2 West.

Take Route 2 West, proceed through and beyond Concord.
(Passing through all of the stoplights on Rt. 2 in Lincoln and Concord,
passing various landmarks along the way such as Walden Pond,
Emerson Hospital, Papparazi Restaurant, and the State Police barracks.)

At the rotary after the State Police,
ignore the opportunity to go onto route 2A West.

Continue on Route 2 West, beyond the rotary,
pass through one more stoplight (in a couple of miles).
After the stoplight, a mere 2/10s of a mile further…
Exit from Route 2, from the left lane, onto Route 111 West.

Continue on Route 111, for more than two miles,
passing two traffic lights,
the first at Route 27, and the second at Central Street.

About a mile past the Central Street stoplight, just after a liquor
store on your left called “The Grapevine,” turn left onto Summer St.
(You’ve gone too far if you pass Liberty Square Road on your right,
which is100 feet farther, at the street light.)

Follow Summer St. several tenths of a mile to a three-way intersection
and stop sign. Bear left, continuing on Summer.

Perhaps one or two tenth’s of a mile further, down in a slight dip,
take a right onto Flagg Hill Rd. Landmark here is an industrial and warehouse property, which you will put on your left after you make the
right turn onto Flagg Hill Road.

Follow Flagg Hill Rd. to its end. It curves around a bit.
(Bear left staying on Flagg Hill Road, where it splits in a little under a mile.)
At end of Flagg Hill Road at the stop sign, turn left onto Stow Road.
Stow Road changes its name to Boxboro Road within a hundred feet
(because you cross the town line here, into Stow; the name change is not marked.)

Landmarks on Stow/Boxboro Road:

About 1/2 mile on right, pass by an airplane sign and a sign for “Nancy’s Airfield Cafe,” (a local general aviation airport).
About a 1/2 mile farther beyond the airport, after going up a rise and
while descending again, our drive is on the left
just before some white concrete guard posts which are on the left.

On left, big black mail box with number 203 on it.
That’s 203 Boxboro Road, Stow.
Take a left into the dirt driveway. House is hidden from the road, two-tenths of a mile in.
Park where you wish.
House entrance is on the “back” of the long house, at left, on the uphill side.

From Worcester vicinity and points west, traveling along the Massaachusets Turnpike (I-90),
Exit the Turnpike onto Intestate-290 East (Auburn exit).

Interstate I-290 ends at Interstate-495. Stay in left lane the last mile to
Take I-495 North.
Pass by the exit for Route 62 (Hudson),
Pass by the exit for 117 (Stow/Bolton)
Exit I-495 at Route 111 (Boxborough) and at the end of the ramp turn
left onto Route 111 (to go East).

Traveling Eastbound on Route 111, toward Acton and Boxboro,
after about 1/4 mile on right there
is a yellow intersection sign. At this corner, on the right is a suburban corporate office.
Turn right here, onto Burroughs Road.

Follow Burroughs, more than a mile or more (it curves and bends);
A landmark: pass “Old Harvard Road” on your right, keep going.
At a three-way intersection and stop sign,
bear right at this fork, onto
Chester Road (the street may not have a sign).
Continue for about 2/10s of a mile to the end of Chester to a second
three-way intersection and stop sign.
Go straight (bearing right) onto Stow Road (the street may not have a sign).
Stow Road splits about 3/10s of a mile further;
bear right (ignoring Richardson Road) at the split, continuing on Stow Road.

Landmarks:
About 3/10’s of a mile beyond the intersetion with Richardson Road, you may notice on your left the end of Flagg Hill Road, merely as a confirming landmark. Continue onward.
(Near Flagg Hill Road, the road crosses into Stow, and is known as “Boxboro Road”;

About 1/2 mile further on right, continue by a sign indicating a small airport and “Nancy’s Airfield Cafe.”

Exit Route 2 onto I-495 South.
Take the first exit, for Route 111.
At the end of the exit ramp and stop light take a right onto 111,
eastbound toward Boxborough and Acton.

Traveling eastbound on Route 111, after about 1/2 mile on right there
is a yellow intersection sign. At this corner, on the right is a suburban corporate office.
Turn right here onto Burroughs Road.
